Qjin and Qwon, the Seoul-based twin duo behind Q2HAN, aren’t just content creators; they’re a moodboard come to life. Think coordinated contrasts, matching energy over matching outfits, and a shared instinct for turning the everyday into editorial.

With a fashion vocabulary fluent in duality and cool-girl codes, the duo has long been friends of PEDRO, adding their personality to signature pieces and embodying the brand’s ethos of effortless essentials.

In their latest feature, Q2HAN turns up the heat with the Summer 2025 drop. We caught up with them to talk evolving style, creative sync, and what being a twin really means when you share not just a wardrobe, but a vision.

Q: How do you two decide who’s wearing what on any given day? Is there a silent twin code?

Believe it or not, we always find ourselves busy styling for each other. Being our own toughest critics, we rely heavily on each other’s perspectives and feedback during decision-making, including when deciding what to wear. Thus, it became natural for us to listen to each other’s opinions with great confidence. It’s kind of like a blessing in disguise ☺ But of course, we do have a moment when both of us want to wear the same item. In that case, it’s always first come, first served!

Q: Your creative rhythm as sisters feels intuitive. Do you believe in creative fate or is it about practice?

Honestly, I think it’s a blend of both. Our creative rhythm as sisters does feel incredibly intuitive: like we can pick up on each other’s ideas without needing to explain too much. There’s a kind of unspoken language between us that feels almost fated. But at the same time, it’s also the result of years after years of shared experience, trust, and a lot of trial and error (Literally A LOT! Haha) We’ve spent so much time creating together that the process has become second nature. The rhythm feels natural now, but we’ve definitely honed it.

Q: What’s your go-to confidence boost when styling for a shoot?

When styling for a shoot, the location plays a big role in boosting our confidence. Hence, it takes longer for us to find the location for a shoot than styling for a shoot. The mood of the location, the props and the natural sunlight of the studio all play a significant role in our confidence

Q: Your content always stands out with such creative concepts, distinctive set designs, and eye-catching props. What inspires your visual storytelling, and can you walk us through your creative process for coming up with these unique ideas?

Thank you, that really means a lot! Our visual storytelling is inspired by a mix of everyday nostalgia, art history, nature, film, and the kind of cinematic beauty we’ve always been drawn to. We’re constantly collecting ideas whether it’s a color palette from a film, a trip to different countries, museums, a television advertisement, fashion look-books or something as simple as morning light hitting the floor. The process usually starts with a feeling or a mood we want to convey. From there, we build out a loose concept through rough doodles. The atmosphere of a studio and props come in as a way to bring that world to life. We often find ourselves repurposing everyday objects in unexpected ways, such as a mirror and water spray to create hydrating effect or Vaseline and vinyl wrap to create a dreamy effect. It’s very collaborative and intuitive as we bounce ideas off each other until it clicks. It’s not always linear, but we’ve learned to trust the creative process.

Q: What’s your approach to evolving your content while staying true to your identity?

We try to evolve by staying curious: experimenting with new ideas, editing styles, formats, or moods. But at the same time, we always do our best to filter everything through our core aesthetic and values. If something excites us creatively and still feels honest to who we are, that’s usually a good sign that we’re on the right path.

Q: How do you deal with comparison culture on social platforms?

Comparison culture on social platforms is definitely something we’re aware of. Social platforms make it incredibly easy to fall into comparison, but we try to stay focused on our own creative journey. Whenever we start to feel that pressure, we remind ourselves how and why we started and what makes our perspective unique. It’s not always easy, but staying rooted in purpose really helps.

Q: As long-time collaborators and friends of the brand, how has your relationship with PEDRO evolved over the years?

Our relationship with PEDRO has grown so organically over the years. What started as a creative collaboration has really evolved into a mutual understanding and trust. We actually feel so excited when we receive an email from PEDRO team out of the blue haha. Every project feels like a conversation, not just a campaign. And we love the fact that PEDRO always gives us the freedom to be creative and just be US! It’s been so inspiring and grateful to grow alongside with a brand that we love and respect.

Q: Your PEDRO Summer 2025 video feels like a visual diary, especially with the spoken word voiceover. What inspired it, and what was the creative process like?

The idea behind the PEDRO Summer 2025 video was to capture the season not just as a moment in time, but as a feeling: something a little more personal and reflective. That’s where the concept of voice-over came in. We wanted it to feel intimate, almost like flipping through someone’s sun-soaked memories. Kind of like an inner monologue that connects emotionally and brings context to the visuals. And what better way to do that than by weaving our own voice and perspective into the video? ☺

Q: As content creators in a hyper-visual world, how do you navigate the discourse between aesthetics and authenticity?

The pressure to create visually stunning content is no joke, but so is the need to connect on a human level. Hence, as content creators we’re always striving to balance between aesthetics and authenticity rather than choosing one over the other. When we create content, we always ask ourselves “What story or message do we want to convey through this content?” At the same time, we use aesthetic shots/scenes to enhance that story or message.

Q: When your image becomes part of someone else’s inspiration folder, what do you hope they actually see?

That sounds like a dream ♡ When our image becomes part of someone else’s inspiration folder we hope they see not only the aesthetics but hope they can feel something as well. That it inspires them and sparks something within!

Q: What’s something you’ve learned from each other that fashion could never teach?

That no fashion trend or aesthetics can replace the strength of showing up for each other. That creativity is a conversation built on trust, not competition. And that sometimes, the most powerful form of inspiration is simply the support we give each other.
