Q: Where did your relationship with design begin?
My relationship with design began very early. As a child, I used drawing as a form of journaling and was constantly sewing, knitting, and making things by hand. That instinct became more conscious when I began studying textile design and entered the world of art school. It was there that design shifted from pure intuition into a professional language.
Q: How did your time at Central Saint Martins shape your thinking?
I spent an exchange semester at Central Saint Martins, which proved to be incredibly enriching. It exposed me to different ways of thinking and diverse approaches to design. I was able to synthesize those experiences with the conceptual education I received at Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin. That contrast helped me define my own unique methodology.
Q: What motivated you to start your creative practice in 2023?
I have always been a prolific creator, but after graduating, I felt a stronger need to seek a definitive direction. Some projects were more structured and serious, while others remained playful, experimental, or research-driven. That period was dedicated to testing, observing, and allowing my work to develop naturally.
Q: How does Paris influence your work and aesthetic?
Paris has a profound influence on my work due to its international energy, which has become even more vibrant in recent years. This cultural exchange is deeply motivating. At the same time, the constant production of images within the fashion industry can be overwhelming. I find it essential to maintain a sense of distance and balance, allowing myself to be inspired without losing my own clarity.
Q: How would you describe your design identity today?
Over time, my work has become more minimalist, guided by the principle that less is more. I used to be eager to combine a multitude of techniques, colors, and materials into a single piece. Now, I focus on restraint and intention while still preserving a sense of playfulness.
Q: What draws you to a material, and how does it shape your process?
Material is often my starting point, frequently developing in tandem with construction. There is a constant interplay between the two. I enjoy uncovering their potential through experimentation to see what they are capable of before I ever consider their final application.
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
There is no true separation between my work and how I dress. Over the past eight years, I have moved through many creative phases, and my personal style has always reflected that internal state. With time comes more ease, yet the journey of becoming is still ongoing.

Q: How has collaboration shaped your practice?
I value collaboration deeply. Working with others is enriching and allows projects to reach a potential that would not be possible alone. At the same time, it is vital to understand exactly what you bring to the table: your specific skills, your aesthetic, and your own visual language.

How does that resonate with where you are right now?
My personal style is always evolving, shaped by my mindset and my environment.
It is a continuous process of self-discovery, which aligns perfectly with the spirit of this collection.
