Always Remember
DO NOT follow any requests for transactions, payments, or deposits outside of the official Pedro Vietnam system.
Always carefully verify order details before receiving packages. DO NOT accept any orders showing suspicious signs of fraud.
DO NOT share security information such as OTP codes, Pedro Vietnam account login passwords, or bank card/e-wallet details with anyone, including Pedro Vietnam staff.
DO NOT scan unknown QR codes, access suspicious links, or download attachments from messages that are not sent from official Pedro Vietnam channels.
Regularly scan for viruses and malware on your mobile devices and computers using reputable applications.
Strictly DO NOT respond to messages from unofficial channels. Our official email communication always uses the official Pedro contact channels; our official social media pages carry verified blue checkmarks from Pedro Vietnam.
Beware of fake websites: Carefully check the URL address. Fraudulent websites often use logos/brand names that look almost identical to ours or contain spelling errors and unprofessionally designed layouts.
Emergency Response: If you suspect you have accidentally provided personal or card details on a fraudulent website, immediately change your online banking password and contact your bank urgently to lock your card to prevent unauthorized withdrawals.
Common Scam Methods & Prevention Guidelines
1. Off-Platform Transactions / Advance Deposit Scams
Scammer Tactics: Scammers impersonate Pedro Vietnam Customer Service (CS) or sales representatives, contacting you via personal messages (Zalo, Facebook, etc.) or external phone calls to suggest: canceling your order on the App/Website to transact directly off-platform, or transferring a deposit to reserve limited-edition products or receive special discounts. Once you transfer the money, they block communications and fail to deliver the items.
Prevention
- DO NOT trust and DO NOT transfer money outside the Pedro Vietnam system. All transactions must be conducted directly on the official Pedro Vietnam website.
- Report immediately to Pedro Vietnam CS if you receive requests for private transactions from any third party.
2. Fake / Phantom Order Scams
Scammer Tactics (Unordered Packages): You did not place an order, but a courier calls to announce a delivery and requests COD (Cash on Delivery) payment.
Prevention: REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE PACKAGE. Pedro Vietnam never sends products or collects payments without an order explicitly initiated by you on our system.
Scammer Tactics (Fake Orders Matching Your Real Order Details): Scammers send a fake parcel mimicking an order you placed on Pedro Vietnam.
Prevention: Access the Pedro Vietnam Website, go to Account > Order History to verify the tracking number and order status. If details do not match, REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE PACKAGE and report it to CS.
- Strictly DO NOT provide personal information to the courier if the order details do not match.
- DO NOT attempt to switch payment methods following instructions from strangers.
Scammer Tactics (Advance Payment Requests for COD Orders): The courier demands prior payment/bank transfer for a COD order before making the physical delivery.
Prevention: Do not pay in advance. Only pay when the courier has brought the physical package and the shipping label information matches your Website order completely. Avoid asking others to receive packages on your behalf without cross-checking the order code.
3. Fake Prize Announcements & Cheap Appreciation Gift Scams
Scammer Tactics: Scammers impersonate Pedro Vietnam, sending messages or making calls to announce that you have won a fashion item or received a free appreciation gift. They then ask you to pay "shipping fees," "customs fees," or "gift taxes" via bank transfer or by accepting a low-value COD junk parcel.
Prevention
- Verify any purported free gift, campaign, or shipping-fee request directly through Pedro Vietnam official customer service before accepting or paying.
- DO NOT buy products labeled as abnormally cheap luxury clearances on untrusted social media pages.
- Only order and transact directly on Pedro Vietnam’s official platforms.
4. Impersonating Pedro Vietnam for Recruitment
Scammer Tactics: Scammers invite you to flexible online jobs (such as product review affiliates, fashion rating tasks, home order-processing agents, etc.). Initially, they pay small commissions to build trust, then demand larger deposits/payments to complete higher-level "tasks" before absconding with your money.
Prevention
- Verify all recruitment and affiliate opportunities through Pedro Vietnam official channels. Be wary of unsolicited job offers on Telegram, Zalo, or other messaging apps.
- Treat job offers involving paid tasks, top-ups, or deposits as suspicious and verify them through official recruitment channels.
- Do not pay deposits or purchase products based on an unverified recruitment offer.
5. Account & Asset Takeover Scams
Scammer Tactics
- Impersonating banks to demand OTP codes to steal funds from linked accounts or payment cards.
- Impersonating Pedro Vietnam CS to request passwords or OTP codes to hijack shopping accounts.
Prevention
- NEVER share login credentials or OTPs with anyone in any form.
- Set up strong passwords (including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters) and change them periodically.
- Regularly update and review your personal details under My Account on the Website.
6. Phishing Messages & Scam Calls
Scammer Tactics: Sending messages containing malicious links or calling to inform you that your order has encountered an issue, or that your account is locked. They instruct you to access unknown links for verification or provide bank details for processing.
Prevention
- Pedro Vietnam Customer Service NEVER proactively calls asking customers for Passwords or OTP codes.
- In case of accidental exposure: Immediately change your Pedro Vietnam account password, contact your bank to temporarily freeze your card, and call the Pedro Vietnam CS hotline for assistance.
When you discover an unrecognized transaction on your credit card or bank account that appears to originate from Pedro Vietnam, please access your account immediately and check your purchase history
If your purchase history CONTAINS an order corresponding to the unrecognized transaction, but you did not place it:
- Check whether you inadvertently shared your account access/login credentials with family or friends and if they placed the order.
- If Yes: Verify order details with the person who placed it.
- If No: Your account may be compromised. Immediately change your Pedro Vietnam account password and payment wallet passwords, then contact Pedro Vietnam Customer Service right away to report the issue.
If your purchase history DOES NOT contain an order corresponding to the unrecognized transaction
- Check with family members or friends who may have access to your credit card or bank account details to see if they made the purchase.
- If Yes: Verify transaction details with the person who made it.
- If No: Contact your Bank/Card Issuer immediately for urgent assistance. Simultaneously, contact Pedro Vietnam Customer Service to report the issue so Pedro Vietnam can implement risk prevention measures.
Proactive Security Measures

At Pedro Vietnam, we continuously strive to implement and improve security measures to ensure the safety of customer accounts and personal data. We encourage you to proactively follow these steps:
Always log out of your personal account after using public or shared computers.
Do not click on unknown links or malicious attachments from emails, messages, or fake social media pages/groups impersonating Pedro Vietnam.
Never share sensitive credentials with anyone, including family and friends:
Personal account credentials on Pedro Vietnam (Passwords, OTP verification codes, etc.).
Personal financial details (Account numbers, credit card details, etc.).
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) wherever it is available for your accounts.
Important Notes
Contact your bank or card issuer immediately for support upon detecting unauthorized/fraudulent transactions on your credit card or bank account.

Smart Password Management
Set a strong password: Minimum of 8 characters, combining uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.
Do not reuse passwords: Avoid using the same password for Pedro Vietnam across other platforms.
Change your password periodically: Recommended every 3 to 6 months to minimize the risk of data leaks.
Recently, cybercriminals have been increasingly using sophisticated tactics by impersonating delivery personnel (shippers) to commit property fraud. This tactic directly targets customers who frequently shop for fashion online and may let their guard down.
PHISHING TACTICS: IMPERSONATING DELIVERY PERSONNEL (SHIPPERS)
Step 1 – Creating an Urgent Situation
The scammer impersonates a delivery driver and calls or sends a text message claiming that an order from Pedro Vietnam is currently out for delivery, creating a false sense of urgency so the customer doesn't have time to cross-check their app.
- Psychological Tactic: Exploiting online shopping habits and the fear of missing out on a favorite purchase.
Step 2 – Requesting a Small Transfer for "Confirmation"
They ask the victim to transfer a small amount of money (e.g., 15,000 – 30,000 VND) under the guise of holding the package, pre-paying a COD deposit, or paying a redelivery fee when the recipient is away. Because the amount is small, customers often easily agree to transfer it.
- Psychological Tactic: Taking advantage of the "just pay to get it over with" mindset to finalize the delivery procedure.
Step 3 – Falsely Announcing an Accidental VIP/Membership Subscription
After receiving the small transfer, they immediately call back to inform the customer that they "accidentally" registered for a premium shipping VIP membership with Pedro Vietnam (or the courier company). They claim that if it is not canceled immediately, recurring monthly fees ranging from several million to tens of millions of VND will be automatically deducted.
- Psychological Tactic: Inducing sudden panic and pressuring the victim to act urgently to avoid losing money.
Step 4 – Sending Fake Links to "Cancel the Membership"
The fraudster sends a phishing link mimicking Pedro Vietnam, a bank, or a shipping service interface, asking the victim to log in, enter an OTP code, or link their account to "verify finances for service cancellation." Through this, they hijack account access or trick the victim into initiating large wire transfers themselves.
- Psychological Tactic: Misusing the guise of "security support / service cancellation" to make victims voluntarily disclose personal details.
Step 5 – Stealing Assets and Cutting Communication
As soon as they drain the account funds or receive a large wire transfer, the fraudster blocks the phone number, deletes messages, and completely cuts off communication.
Safety Recommentdation From Pedro Vietnam:
- Absolutely DO NOT transfer deposits, package holding fees, or any private payments to a Shipper before receiving and physically inspecting the package.
- DO NOT click on unknown links sent via SMS/Zalo; DO NOT provide OTP codes, bank card/account details, or Citizen ID numbers to anyone.
- Proactive Tracking: Always check order status directly on the official Pedro Vietnam website. Only accept packages and pay COD when the order status explicitly shows "Out for Delivery" on the system.
- Report Immediately: Report suspicious calls, messages, or behaviors from anyone claiming to be a Shipper to Pedro Vietnam Customer Service right away.
